Dermaceutic Milk Peel
Dermaceutic Professional Peels
Dermaceutic Professional Peels are trusted by dermatologists and aesthetic professionals worldwide for their proven efficacy, safety, and precision. Scientifically formulated with balanced concentrations of active acids, these medical-grade chemical peels deliver accurate, repeatable, and predictable results.
At Clinical Cosmetics, we offer the Milk Peel (for acne and irregular skin texuture and tone), Cosmo Peel (for signs of ageing - lines and wrinkle and pigments) , and Mela Peel Forte (for Pigments, melasma, and post-inflammatory Hyper-pigmentation)— each designed to target specific skin concerns such as dullness, uneven tone and texture, fine lines, pigmentation, and acne, while restoring a healthy, radiant complexion.
Milk Peel Treatment
Intended for the treatment of mild acne, keratosis pilaris (small, rough, bumpy patches on the skin), and superficial pigmented lesions
Milk Peel Treatment targets dull skin, fine lines, folliculitis, and complexion irregularities. This superficial medical-grade peel restores luminosity, boosts collagen production, and leaves patients with a natural, more even complexion.
Thanks to its gentle formulation and an in-clinic protocol designed to leave patients with minimal downtime, Milk Peel Treatment is a progressive alternative to laser treatments and highly concentrated peels. Suitable for all skin types and phototypes, Milk Peel is an ideal “maintenance treatment” for any time of year.
How does Milk Peel work?
As a Superficial peel, Milk Peel contains carefully balanced Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) such as glycolic acid and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs) like salicylic acid. These exfoliating acids gently dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to shed more easily. The result is a smoother, clearer, and more luminous complexion.
Glycolic acid (AHA): Promotes cell renewal and brightens dull skin.
Salicylic acid (BHA): Penetrates pores to help control oil, refine texture, and reduce breakouts.
Because superficial peels work only on the top layer of skin, there is minimal downtime - making them a perfect “lunchtime treatment” with visible results and little to no peeling afterwards.
How does Superficial Peels differ from at-home exfoliants?
While at-home exfoliating products such as scrubs or mild acid toners can help maintain skin brightness between professional treatments, they typically contain lower concentrations of active ingredients and are designed for surface-level exfoliation only.
A professional superficial peel like Milk Peel, on the other hand, is stronger, more precise, and customised to your skin’s specific needs. It allows for a controlled and uniform exfoliation that reaches deeper layers than over-the-counter products, stimulating cell renewal and collagen production at a level home care products simply can’t achieve.
Your clinician will also neutralise and condition the skin after treatment, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal results.
Who Can Benefit From a Milk Peel?
Milk peel is suitable for most skin types and tones. It is especially beneficial for those experiencing:
Mild acne and congestion: Helps unclog pores, smooth texture, and regulate oil production.
Dull or uneven complexion: Revives radiance and restores a healthy glow.
Fine lines and early signs of ageing: Encourages collagen synthesis to soften fine lines.
Uneven pigmentation or sun damage: Promotes a more even, refined skin tone.
The Results You Can Expect
When combined with a personalised at-home skincare regimen, clients often notice visible improvements after just one treatment — including smoother texture, reduced redness, and a more radiant complexion.
With a course of treatments, the skin continues to improve, becoming clearer, firmer, and more even in tone.
Social Downtime
The Milk Peel is often called a “lunch peel” because it involves little to no visible peeling or downtime. After your treatment, we’ll reapply a high-quality physical sunscreen to protect your skin.
You can comfortably wear a good mineral makeup from the next morning. For best results, it’s essential to protect your skin — apply sunscreen daily, wear a wide-brimmed hat when outdoors, and avoid direct sunlight for at least two weeks after treatment.
